 | Friday, November 30th, 2007: Catcher LaRue Excited to Play for Cleveland The Cleveland Indians have called a press conference later today to announce the signing of catcher Jason LaRue to a 1-year, $2,000,000 contract. Both LaRue and the Indians are said to be very pleased to come to this agreement. LaRue has stroked .234 with 524 hits in 2453 plate appearances thus far into his career. He has banged 126 doubles, 6 triples and 83 home runs. He has also scored 258 runs and knocked in 297 runs, and he has a .407 slugging percentage. |
