The numbers that Detroit's Curtis Granderson racked up last week were the envy of the league, as Granderson came away with American League Player of the Week honors. He rapped out 14 hits and coaxed 2 walks on the way to a .640 on base percentage. With 2 of those hits going for extra bases, he posted a .783 slugging percentage over the last seven days.

Curtis Granderson is swinging at a .290 clip on the year. He has hit 7 homers among his 20 extra-base hits, driven in 36 runs, and scored 43 runs as well.
