 | Wednesday, September 5th, 2007: Mark Buehrle Extends Stay in Chicago Reports began circulating several days ago that Mark Buehrle would re-sign with the White Sox, but didn't materialize until today when the club officially confirmed SION's reports. Details were sketchy, though Chicago did say Buehrle would be with the club 4 years beyond his current deal. Buehrle has the poise of a seasoned veteran despite his 28 years. The man exudes confidence every time he takes the hill. To date in 2007, he has another good year going with 29 starts, 8-14 won-lost mark, 4.86 ERA, 189 IP, 133 strikeouts and 50 bases on balls. Teams have hit only .302 against him. |
