Major League Baseball News Article | | | Tuesday, September 11th, 2007: Chicago Win Behind Perfect Game from Meas Some say that perfection is only an illusion that can never be turned into reality by a human. Today, Donald Meas showed the world that perfection can be attained, if only for a brief time. Meas entered baseball history today by throwing a perfect game to humble the Anaheim Angels. A total of 5 batters struck out against Meas, who showed some of the best control of his career. "I'm still having a hard time accepting that this really happened," Meas told reporters after the game. "The standing ovation and the curtain calls were more than I ever expected to receive playing ball. I want to thank the fans, my family, and most of all my teammates for helping me experience this."
