 | Wednesday, June 25th, 2008: Scranton-Wilkes Barre Show-Stopper: Franklin Shuts out Charlotte Ryan Franklin of the Scranton-Wilkes Barre Red Barons put the clamps on the opposition and held the Charlotte Knights scoreless in a 2-hit whitewash. "He's got some good stuff, but we should have done better than that," said the Charlotte skipper after the game. Franklin was on target most of the game and finished with 7 strikeouts and 2 bases on balls. Franklin has made 20 starts this season, posting 8 wins and 6 losses. Opposing clubs are batting .219 against him, and he has 111 strikeouts in 118 innings with a 2.67 ERA. |
