Eastern League News Article | | | Monday, June 30th, 2008: Peterson is Untouchable, Tosses a No-Hitter It was a game that all pitchers dream about: a no-hitter. Matt Peterson of the Altoona Curve was right on target against the New Britain Rock Cats. He really zeroed in on them, holding them hitless with 10 strikeouts and 4 bases on balls.
Peterson said he just had it all today, "very good stuff and great location, a combination that's hard to beat."
This year the 26-year-old Peterson has gone 10-2 with an ERA of 2.02, posting 131 strikeouts in 124.2 innings pitched. | |
