 | Tuesday, July 1st, 2008: Schoe of Chattanooga Jolts His Way to SL Batter of Month Award It was a very good June for the SL Best Batter recipient, Jens Schoe. The Chattanooga first baseman had a marvelous month, hitting .323, blasting 3 doubles and 11 four-baggers, driving in 24 runs batted in, and scoring 21 times. To date, Schoe has accumulated 87 hits in 261 at-bats for a .333 average, and has posted an OBP of .417 for the current campaign. He has also slammed 23 home runs, walked 34 times, scored 54 runs, and driven in 54 runs. |
