 | Wednesday, July 9th, 2008: Schlosser Tosses Shutout Against Myrtle Beach Dennis Schlosser of the Potomac Nationals worked his mound magic on the Myrtle Beach Pelicans. He blanked them on 3 hits, registering 4 strikeouts and 1 base on balls. "Making good pitches is the name of the game, and I made some good ones in this one," said Schlosser to SION scribes after the game. Schlosser is just breaking into the pros. So far this season he has a record of 12 wins and 3 losses and a 1.06 ERA. He has appeared in 17 games and struck out 60 in 135.2 innings. |
