"It was just one of those games, wash it off and do better next time," he said. Mauro Nahoul blanked them on 4 hits while walking 2 and striking out 3. "I kept them off balance. I could tell a lot of them were late on fastballs. They were fouling them off. Once you see that, it sets them up for other pitches," Nahoul said. "I set them up pretty good, where if they chased one breaking ball, they were going to chase another one." Nahoul has made 7 starts this season, posting 2 wins and 3 losses. Opposing clubs are batting .197 against him, and he has 12 strikeouts in 48.2 innings with a 2.03 ERA. |
