Dayton's Loman Threadgold put up some impressive numbers during the 2008 campaign to seal his bid for Outstanding Hitter Award. The 23-year-old right fielder hit the ball with frightening efficiency, piling up a .366 average with 63 hits, 16 home runs, and 44 RBI for a fine year at the plate.

 | Tuesday, July 1st, 2008: Dayton's Lincoln Charges to Midwest League Outstanding Pitcher Award
The Dayton mound ace, Brad Lincoln, put up some super stats for the 2008 season and has been voted the Midwest League Outstanding Pitcher Award winner. He made 12 starts, tossed 89.2 innings, allowed just 43 hits, struck out 98 and gave out only 11 free passes. In all, he compiled a marvelous 10-0 record with a fine 0.70 ERA and held the opposition to a low .137 team batting average.
