Wednesday, July 2nd, 2008: Gustavo Chacin Deals Blanks Against Anaheim
Gustavo Chacin of the Los Angeles Dodgers was right on target when he blanked the Anaheim Angels, yielding 4 hits and fanning 4. Speaking to SION reporters after the game, Gustavo Chacin said, "I had everything working today, and I got some help from my defense, too. They saved my butt a few times."

So far in 2008, Chacin has garnered 6 wins and 5 losses over 16 games. He has recorded an ERA of 3.06 and struck out 65 batters, while pitching 108.2 innings.
Saturday, June 28th, 2008: Anaheim Draws a Blank Against Garland
It was a razor-sharp performance by Jon Garland of the Arizona Diamondbacks against the Anaheim Angels. He fashioned a fine 5-hitter in blanking them and chalked up 6 strikeouts and 1 base on balls.

Jose Molina has been swinging the bat like a lethal weapon of late.
