The AZL pitcher hurled a 1-hit shutout in a fine performance, giving up 2 bases on balls and putting down 2 batters on strikes. His manager told reporters after the game, "B is good at getting out of jams. He's almost more effective when he gets guys on base or gets behind in the count, because he uses your aggressiveness against you."

His all-around performance at the plate made him the league's most recent Player of the Week.
The 18-year-old left fielder boasted a .571 average and a 2.000 slugging percentage, with 4 extra-base clouts among his 4 hits. He scored 3 times and drove in 6 runs in the 2 games he played.
