Brandon Fahey was on fire today, going 5 for 6 against Tacoma.
B. Fahey hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, struck out in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit a two-run single in the 9th.
Thus far this year, the 27-year-old third baseman has a .235 batting average with a .292 on base percentage. Fahey has cracked 43 hits including 1 home runs, scored 26 times, and banged in 27 runs as well. |

The Tucson Sidewinders have a lot to celebrate as 26-year-old hurler Dustin Glant no-hit the Tacoma Rainiers earlier today.
"He mixed his pitches well, hit his spots, and got some help from above," commented his pitching coach. "Dustin really took it to another level today."
Taking the hill 0 times so far this season, Glant has compiled an ERA of 2.66 and is saving ballgames at a .0% clip. He has thrown 71 innings and struck out 47. In no save opportunities he has gotten the save 0 times and blown 0 of those chances.

Robb Quinlan put on a hitting clinic today. The Salt Lake first baseman sprayed hits all over the ballpark by lashing Tacoma pitching for 5 hits in 5 at-bats.
R. Quinlan hit an RBI double in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 9th.
Quinlan has stroked 56 hits in 185 at-bats thus far into the campaign. He has banged 14 doubles and rifled 8 home runs. He has also registered 49 RBI and has a slugging percentage of .508.
